More good news for Goulburn today. I got to catch up with Tom Toparis Racing and the Goulburn Motor Cycle Club this afternoon to hear how the new Goulburn Moto Park is progressing.
They have worked for years to get this project off the ground and I couldn’t be happier to support them. I am delighted that the NSW Government has been able to contribute a $491,284 grant from the Stronger Country Communities Fund.
The Moto Park will be sure to be a drawcard for residents of Goulburn and the wider motorcycle community, providing a safe and controlled environment for training, coaching and competitions. We will see construction of a new clubhouse and canteen, new landscaping around the tracks (to help reduce runoff onto the track and improve the look of the facility). There will also be state-of-the-art irrigation installed as part of the upgrade.
